1. Find the landmark between suprasternal notch and mastoid process then draw the midline.
2. Palpate for carotid artery. Then poke with 3cc syringe and blue needle just lateral to the pulse. Aspirate out till blood is aspirated then take out the syringe.
3. Then take cvl needle to poke just parallel to the blue needle just now.
4. Then insert the guide wayar.
5. Insert the dilator and nick the skin with blade. Make a small nick only. Then push the dilator till midway.
6. Push the cvl in. Dont forget index and thumb technique to stabilize it.
Than anchor.
